What I use after polishing (which would be analogous) is a solvent sealer. It absorbs at different rates and needs a wipe, but dries without a haze.

Is that something you should let cure a few days before sealing? I use the stuff from Cobb's and have good results with it.

The plan is to clean the tile after installation Of tile and grout but prior to the kitchen install

there is an island , half wall, wet bar all plumbed and ready

the final clean and seal will happen in a month or so after completion of all construction

it’s a twofer

The grout might be full of construction debris before you get to it. If it's sheet rock dust you will be the one looking bad.

If its not too late, suggest he use this grout for the install.

The color consistency is amazing and the lack of sand will enable easy future resurfacing if desired.

Far more stain resistant too but seal it anyways

Depends on type of Travertine/ installation:
SE, butt install or castle install(AKA:french pattern, ashlar) , is it factory filled or un filled post filled?

Is there any refinishing going to be done post install?

You also need to make it very clear sealing will not change the appearance, and set expectations.

Basically, depends on how absorbant the surface is to match correct sealer for best results and ease of application

Would not recommend Prism, as it may surface damage a polished surface,

Custom has also updated there unsanded line i noticed, unsure, however may be using similar type cements (color fast and quick cure)
