Cleaned at a second Wendy's out of town last night.

Looked in the window from outside and was just pure black of course.
Carpet was only FOUR months old, yah, I said 4 months.

I could barely push the bathroom door open the tile was so greasy.

What is a good degreaser for Restaurants to be using nightly when they mop and then when they hot hose the the floor into the floor drains.

If I clean it monthly, what the s*** does that do except stay clean for maybe the 3-4 days and get greasy again in the ktichen.

What could I sell them or recommend to buy for cleaning greasy a** tile????

Jordan I would get them to use Ecolabs Wash n Walk. It is an enzyme based degreaser and was developed for use in kitchens. It works excellent and if I remember right you dont have to rinse just use a squeegee it to the drain and the left over chemical will break down the grease down in the grout lines. It will also clean the drains gradually as its used. Good Luck.

You might consider the Matrix Planet Guard Degrease as well.. But pushing the green degreasers might be a plus with a restaurant and most green cleaners are not going to use solvents that may contribute to build up. Are they having you seal the grout at least once a year? If not that may be part of your problem as that grout with absorb a lot of grease to collect soil.

The above post is not too bad an idea either.

Eco Lab has some products that are popular with a lot of restaurants... I haven't used them much personally though. Spartan Chemica has some good products and of course Cobbs PowerMax would do the trick but requires agitation and a thorough rinse or you'll have a white hazy to white powdery residue... Although, I'd be cautios about selling professional grade chems to your customers.

I think the best things you could have them get are a deck brush, new mop heads every 3 days to a week and a new squeegy...

That is why I was suggesting the betco products, they are available to a lot of restaurants through their JAN SAN and Distributers.

Any degreaser they can find will work. The main problem is they use a dirty mop most of the time.

A good scrub is always a big help before rinsing.

That eco lab stuff is challenging me on a resty I have with a rubber floor in kitchen. They pour on and squeegy to drain.

In under a week I have a HUGE THICK grease pit traffic lane about ten feet long to remove for them. They don't listen to my suggestions so I get more money for more trips there.

Mixed-Rite Ultra Citra Boost. This is in fact what it was designed for. Resturant Floors and Drains. It had to be SAFE and water soluable. After finding it worked like magic we started testing it on carpet ( We being JWC Inc/Steam Way of Utah) and helped Mo bring it to market along with the other Mixed-Rite Products.

1oz to a gallon goes a LONG ways.

Take your spinner with you next time and clean a 10" path from the carpet to the kitchen... A little bit of solvent protector will help a ton too.
