I have a 120 gallon recovery tank.

I can run 3 decent size jobs, including tile cleaning before having to dump. So, I have an idea how much water I recover, but no idea how much I use.

What size fresh water tank would be right?

I am wasting way too much time dicking around hooking up to a water supply on every job.

Depends .. aside from brutal winters .. it might be cheaper to hook up at every job rather than lug around all that weight !! Gas, wear n tear etc...

Our commercial trucks run a 120 fresh water and 100 recovery, and we never fill the recovery tank before running out of water. It will get through three average job OK.

I run a 14' box truck as well. I have a 200 gallon tank and its great. On busy days I gerneally run around 160-180 gallons.
