sorry for the horrible pic. i need a new camera phone. thathurts

I don't think it's ceramic or porcelain.

I'm planning to clean and seal but not sure what it is.

Can anybody identify it?

I told the gal it was limestone.

She said it wasn't limestone but couldn't remember what.

I agree, until she tells me otherwise it is limestone.

Thanks for the assist!

to me that looks like a ceramic look a like travertine. tiles are pretty uniform.. my 2 cents. pour a little dr pepper on a spot see if it eches it.

Not smooth like ceramic but not pourous like natural stone either.

it could be a faux limestone if such a thing exists.

I'm scheduled to clean and seal it next week so i should know for sure then. I'll update with some better pics if possible.

Thanks!

mop scrub with cbm and rinse with 600 to 800 psi. work up psi slowly. looks like you can treat it like any other floor to me though. use caution until your comfortable. keep spinner moving too.

go to a corner with your carpet scissors, lightly scratch it, if it scratches deep then it's stone, if it scratches like a black pencil mark then it's ceramic or porcelain...
