And used an awl for seams. I got some of my training in installation days from 2 Glaswegian Scotsmen that were exceptionally skilled at 3 things - installs, drinking and fighting. We were getting $8 a yard to install axminster and more work than time to do it. But Hans was just that bit better.Sounds like one of those rare installers that power-stretched everything.
