Padding and possibly backing from a rug that was never moved from its place in over 30yrs.

What would you charge for a job like this to restore the wood floor to match the continual flow of original floor in the hallway and living room

5 days before settlement when owners heirs sold everything put the stud nails. Little old lady lived their all her life. Heirs sold everything in estate auction including the rug minus the backing or cushion or whatever it was.
The realtors involved where all freak out.....they freaked out even more when I whacked them over the head with the bill. Got her done though. Floor still needed more work but they only wanted enough to make a horrible situation before settlement turned to prince with the golden slipper.

The story ended with all parties happy....including me. Chaaaaaching.

Btw anyone attempting to work on this type of job and preserve the old wood flooring, better know what you are doing or else you will buy the farm. Wood flooring are not as forgiving as carpet.
