I use mine almost every day, with stainless shoes.

No but it will clean ten times better than ANY wand.

My guys like the Hoss more than the XL.

Less water usage to get the same results so the dry passes go quicker

Hoss 700.....the 700 equates to 700 cleaning paths per min.
5 cleaning spray bars / vac shoes X 140 rpm= 700 cleaning paths pet min.
Try that with a wand!
And don't forget the added "must have" agitation for the heavily soiled carpets.
that's pretty much what they say about the rx20. are we reinventing the wheel here?

RX-20 "fixed" vac shoe jumps all over when going over uneven commercial glue down.....Hoss has "rubber isolators" under each vac shoe which allows it to move smoothly over the worst glue down.
RX-20 "fixed" spray jet pattern.....Hoss has " staggered length" spray bars cleaning the full 15" dis. From the center out with variable flow for deeper penetration of cleaning solution without over wetting.
RX-20 "solid mental" shroud can mar baseboards......Hoss has "flexible ploy" shroud that won't mar baseboards.
RX-20 has a much higher base so it doesn't fit under some toe kicks and the "solid metal " lifting handle on the front edge can damage cabinets as well.....Hoss has a rubber handle on a strap that lays flat so it can't create damage.
RX-20 has a "lubricanting wick" under the rotary plate that "must be lubricated" as part of regular Maint.
Hoss has a "sealed bearing" that doesn't need any Maint.
I could go on but I think that's enough.

The shoes do flex some from the way they mount. I haven't used it on a commercial, buy why when I have two zippers. I took out the flow disk and turned the spray bar to spray almost parallel with the carpet. I can't compare it to the xl but I felt the mytee left the carpet drier. It had to many other problems for me to consider. In the end I felt like the Hoss was the best choice.

My 2 cents ... The Rotovac XL is 3/4 horse power and I believe the hoss is 1/2 horse power. If you plan on using a brush head I like more hp.

3/4 hp motor is NECESSARY if someone wants to use the XL with brushes and METAL vac shoes.

The thing is a real beast compared with the 360i.

I'm sure anyone will be elated at the results of the HOSS compared to a wand. It will take more time though.
