Didn't get to retry the black one, I did try the other and liked it a lot felt good after actually cleaning with it for a couple of minutes.

I liked the new wand type handle, it felt more familar in motion when used. Although if you're trying to get away from that motion the standard model is still a good choice.

I LOVE that handle. All my wands will have them from now on.

You can really get some leverage on the wand when you need to dig down, especially if you are doing a water extraction.
