Which of these tools is going to leave me the least sore or tired out at the end of the day or workweek? Do they all clamp down to floor or is one much easier to work with?

Not sure what you mean by a rx15? Maybe you mean a rx 20? I haven't used a bonzer, except in testing but I love my 13 inch Zipper. Much easier on the back and shoulder. Not the best tool for all situations but for commercial, it rocks. Look at the Zipper 15 or super spinner. When you have to use a wand, make sure you have a Teflon glide on it.

CX 15

I prefer the Zipper but especially the Zipper Spinner. No lock down.

Never used the CX 15 but have seen it and it seemed very overpriced for what it is. Bonzer, same thing. Asking too much for as cheaply its built.

I like the cx 15. Can you imagine if it had 2 vacuum slots? One in front and one in back? Oh Yeah, that's a Zipper Super Spinner.

I think the Zipper is your best bet. For large empty areas, it is very easy to work with just one person. You clean and vacuum both forwards and back. Depending on your truckmount, you may not have to do a dry stroke. I have a smaller tm, 4ml blower and I dry stroke but some times, I can see I am not recovering anymore moisture. You can clean on your forward stroke, pushing it along, overlap and clean on your back stroke.

The cx15 is by far the easiest to use because of the weight, however only walking backwards all day takes a lot of cordination that many people lack. If it could be turned around so you could push it forward it would be far better. Also watch out for creating circles at the beginning of your strokes. (I tested one at a movie theater and 6 months later I could still see the circles from the bar spinning up)
I would buy a zipper so you can clean in either direction. I have a 13in and I won't use anything else on commercial carpet. My feet defiantly thank me at the end of a full day of cleaning commercial. I also think of my shoulder, anytime I can change up a stress point or change a pattern to get out of the normal routine I would that it; it will only extend the time you can do your job.

Many of us old timers used drag wands at one time which taught us to walk backwards. Switching to the Zipper was similar to that and therefore pretty easy.

@Nomad74 has used both the cx15 and zipper

As for the bonzer...if you have a truck mount, don't waste money on it. It feels like it's made for portable use

I have the zipper, zipper ss and cx-15. They are each different. I like my zipper ss best because I like cleaning forward and back. But the cx-15 cant be beat for a cheap tool that you only take off the truck here and there as needed.

A stupid question, but why the SS over the standard zipper? How much do they weigh? Any crop circles with the SS?

The SS flushes much better than the standard Zipper. On plush or dense piled carpet it will leave a strange pattern. Not swirls but an odd imprint. It easily grooms out though, never had any trouble with it not.

Weight, not much more than the Standard.

Thanks for your input on the Zipper SS, Rich. I can't wait to get my hands on one.

I have benefitted so much from coming here. At least as good as attending a trade show, except you people are not trying to sell me anything. Usually.
I have a really nice piece of property on the southern tip of Florida for sale. Interested?
