Don’t ask me why but,
I need to know which dry solvent will work best to remove a small area of acrylic floor finish?
This would not be a good idea on VCT, but the floor is concrete.

VDS probably wont take it off there is nothing in it to break down the finish. Just get you some stripper or if it is a really small area some baseboard stripper and have at it. It shouldn't matter on concrete whether the floor is sealed or not. If it is sealed try to find out what type of sealer is on it, or do a test in an out of the way area to make sure there are no adverse affects. There are some water based crete sealers that a stripper could take off.

on concrete use a clear stripper or it may darken the concrete in that area

Mike;

A well-formulated POG should take the acrylic right off.

Try to use a solvent that is not flammable.

I have had issues with concrete where some moister was trapped under the finish / sealer resulting milky powder in a small area. Cleaning it up with a dry solvent would save time because, I don’t have to screw around waiting for the area to dry again.
