whats wrong with this place?

I can click on pretty much anything but the last page of the "help me find a vacuum cleaner" thread.

Everytime I try to read the unread posts it shuts off my browser on my HTC.

I tried going to page 2 or 3 to start from there too but the same thing happens when I get to the last page it starts loading for a second or two and turns off my browser.

Everything else seems to load fine...

Anyone else has this issue or am I banned from that page?

Are you using the phones browser, another browser, or a third party app? Full site or mobile theme?

but...I just went to the last page of the thread on my HTC oneX using each of the above and didn't any have issues.

Using the phone's own factory browser no third party apps. Full site viewing. HTC Amaze.

This baffles me..why that one segment of the whole site just turns off my browser... I tried restarting the phone same thing..I tried taking out the battery for 5 minutes...same thing.

I think I'll clear my cache and cookies and stuff and see what happens..

Ok...I cleared cache cookies history form data. Only have this one tab open.

Looked at it without logging back on: same thing it turned off my browser.

Logged on just now clicked on that page again: and it turned off my browser.

Anything else I click on works fine.

I'm able to see page 10 in its entirety. It's only page 11 that shuts my browser off. So weird.

I can't get it to hapen on my phone.

Running some maintenance stuff on the backend right now.............give it about 5 minutes and try again.

I tried the "birth of an at" thread. It loads good pages 11 thru 15

But the vac thread still shuts my browser at page 11.

yesterday while out of town i couldnt text to my girlfriend. everyone else i could. i tried taking out the battery and everything i could think of.

got home same day and everything was fine again.

i hate technology.

There may be an issue with this thread because I quoted Ron's post in one of my replies and his original post had a number of images embedded. As a consequence the reply now has those images too, making for some pretty heavy duty framing and inject embedding. Depending on the age of the browser you have on your Android phone, this might be the source of your issue.

Fred, just an update on this..

Now that the thread got to page 12, I can open page 12 just fine. However page 11 is still a no-no to my HTC for whatever crazy reason.

It still shuts down my browser. Maybe something in the url of that particular page. Again, everything else works perfect..

Only odd thing I found on that page was some extra code that was inserted when Ofer copied an image link from wikimedia. I have edited that post. Let me know if that fixes it.

Have gone to apps and downloaded another browser to see if the problem still exists?

It's probably free. Also tapatalk works great on my iPhone.

I do like going on the full site also to use my credits to bid. Other then that it's tapatalk.
