When do you change your vacuum hoses?

I know we have all talked about solution lines about 100 times but what about your vac hoses?

How bad do you let your hoses look before your replace them?

Do you use bright colors or the standard grey or blue?

flash cuffs?
cool cuffs?
vinyl cuffs?

Who has the pic of the worst looking cuff that you still currently use everyday. I occasionally see duct tape around cuffs of other local cleaners.

You replace them? I think we still have some aqua ones that came with our Steam Genie back from the 70's.

We truthfully don't replace them, we usually just by more when we come up short. I prefer older hoses vs new hoses. It takes a while to break in new hoses.

We bought 15 new 50 foot sections last year but we contaminated them to the point cleanup wasn't reasonable.

We pressure wash them but if that's a regular account I'd save that set just for bad ones. We have all those nasty smelling ones in a storage shed just in case we ever need them again. They look fine but smell like cooking oil.
