Besides on clean carpet..

When do you take that risk and let a bit more chems and dwell do the job?

Devastator owners know this answer....

I learned that when it doesn't look like it, chances are that it does.

Just did one that looks super clean. I thought not to do it, but the owner mentioned that it has a smell that it really shouldn't have. I could tell too.

So I whipped out crb and ran it after SS prespray. Sure enough, crud, hair and etc. So is it worth using CRB if you are on every new job/client?

YES

if a RE is "better thEn ever'thing" like you claim

when do you bring out the RE ?
Instead of taking "that risk and let a bit more chems and dwell (and your LilPeeder CRB) to do the job" ?

I threw my 175 rotary in the dumpster as soon as my greasy twice a year steak house replaced the carpet with tile. Thought about buying one of those Oreck dirt swirlers for the occasional residential traffic lane but can usually soak it with enough of Cobbs juice to make Mrs. Jones happy.

Clever but no, but I ( and you) will say this, Devastating cleaners can cut out the pre scrub shockingly often, with just a wee bit more pre juice and a little MB time out in the van..
What is it that makes it clean better than a standard wand? Jet angle or closer to carpet? Operator in sheer ecstasy and taking slower strokes? I've never seen one of these contraptions.

Now that I’ve had a helper for a couple months, we scrub almost everything.

The thoroughness varies a little. Many bedrooms are Devastator Wand territory with very little time spent scrubbing in there.

Some guy over on the "other" board says he charges $250 or double the amount to prescrub. But then again he uses a portable
