That's why my business # is my cell #. I take the incoming calls no matter what, and if it goes to VM I call back immediately. And it's not just the little bastard, the husband won't write down the message often either. DON'T PLAY PHONE TAG.

when somebody calls and wants to leave a message, and you can't find a pen and don't really care to take the message in the first place, do you ever do that thing where you pretend to write the message down by mimicking it with your finger?
