I didn't look to hard it was a flip phone I got when I was struggling with whatever I'm dealing with.
JHCI miss Flip phones, when life was easier..
Radio telephone. I had one in the eighties in rural Alberta. My first cell phone was a briefcase model in 1990.Get this. When I was a kid in the early 80's maybe late 70's my dad had a car phone. It was an operator assist phone. you would need to say "over" after every sentence so the operator could switch the conversation to the other person. It was simplex radio communication. I remember going Trick or Treating with my dad in Santa Cruz and the horn on his VW Rabbit started honking and the head light flashed. That's how he knew he was getting a phone call. As a little kid, I thought that was the coolest thing ever.
Then cell phones came along and the operator assisted radio phones were out. Thank God.
Had one of those too.Remember the Brick with the long antenna..
