Re: Wheres Lisa? Let the conspiracy theories begin! =)

I was on vacation. My computer does not go on vacation with me.

I asked the Allens to remove me from the name of their rug section, because after a year of overseeing it, there are enough ruggies over there to not need me "mothering" them over and over with "don't surface clean!" - which I'm sure some get tired of hearing.

No conspiracy theory. The Allens were nice enough to dedicate a rug section on their site, and name it after me because I joked around about that, and then they let me post whatever I wanted to. Never deleted a post I made. We had some clashes... but we've had bigger ones here, so I have no complaints with *** - and I'll still pop in over there now and then.

So Ron... thanks for noticing the change, and asking about me. =) We had a fantastic Conference, and it's a lot of work to put on a big event, so there needs to be down time. Now I get to start up with working with our 100 Platinum companies for this next year. I've also got a few new projects to choose from, which is cool, and that was the other reason for the time off - to clear my head before I chop some things out of my world, and start up my training company again, because I really miss teaching the rug stuff. Especially the tricky stuff.

The projects don't include a rug plant in Nashville (sorry Joey) - but I do plan on stopping by at Mikeyfest again.

I want to thank you guys here for a year of fun - and I look forward to another one. I know the ball-busting is the only way some of you know how to show "love"... that's why I know Terry actually secretly loves me. LMAO.

Thanks for the laughs...

Lisa glad to hear all's good. I know you tried to help over there but it seemed, to me, a lot of spray and licking was going on and not real Rug cleaning, Any way nice to have another Rug Snob back.

Yeah... I've decided that I want to take the time I spend on training and actually work with those who want to set up a real rug cleaning plant because all of the disasters I see are constantly coming from those who insist on surface cleaning and don't take the time to learn about what they are working on.

The ones who do the best are the ones who send questions before they begin the cleaning instead of after (and usually after they have tried 3 things to try to fix their mistakes). It's just a different breed of cleaner - the ones who want to specialist versus the ones who just want to try to make $3 a sq ft quick with no training.

Don't know if it makes me a snob ... though I don't consider you one Ron... =) but I do admire the pros who aren't always looking for the shortcuts versus really learning a craft.

Lisa
