Tootsies was my first legal adult beverage when I turned 21 that day served by non other than Tootsie herself. She died later that year.

It was 6 months before the Kentucky Headhunters hit it big. They were playing there in the early afternoon, and the lead singer was walking across the bar stepping over people's drinks......singing "Walk Softly on this Heart of Mine".

Little did we know at the time they would hit it bigtime. True Story!

After that I don't remember much more about my 21st birthday. Too many Tequila Manhattens. Sicko...

Third and Lindsay's. Haven't been there in years. But on Wendsdays the Wooten brothers would play. You could see Victor Wooten playing with his brothers. If you don't already know who he is you probably won't like it. A 1o minute bass solo isn't for everyone. But it's the best live music I've ever heard.

Our dinner with the kid singing Johnny Cash for us was the best. I need to find his CD and transfer it to my phone. I think of all our dinner parties that one was the best we have ever had.
