I dont but most know the story of how I help resurrect a local one on public lands...

Now I have a new project..

For decades there has been a flag flying on top of Mt Patterson https://www.dangerousroads.org/north-america/usa/7325-mount-patterson.html

..that due to high winds and shoddy pole construction, the flag gets destroyed by the cables holding the POS pole up.

I've decided to install a 14" 2" pole in 4 bags of concrete, using eye bolts and real clasps

The current set up..

Hopefully the snow holds off until 11/17

We are far more likely to fly our football team flag.
Yeah, I remember reading an article somewhere that the USA is pretty much the only country or at least one the very few where citizen display flag at their home property... The rest of the countries are more likely to display their favorite football team flag. The country national flag is only displayed at major events and government properties.
