Never found one yet that was durable. The hydro force in the picture snapped right off at the nut. Replaced the part and the same thing happened. I gave up on this style and just went to a quality trigger sprayer

Always seem to have solution getting past the seals and rusting the pump shaft. I spray with wd40 and it seems to help. I have started buying the cheap (9.99) at the hardware store. They seem to last just as long

Tried all kinds too. AdCo Pro has the Solo's for around ten bucks their probably just disposable as are a lot of thing today! The Five Year Silver 1 quart sprayers are probably your best bet they just last longer. Plus they have dilution calibration lines on the side. But you still have to squeeze!

EVERYTHING in life is built cheap these days.... case in point.... over the summer, i had some family visit from out of town. On the way home from work one afternoon, i stopped by to P/U some beer from the beer store. right next door, there was a dollar store. I popped in, and grabbed some water guns for the kids. I thought, hmm, maybe i should get a few extras just in case the big kids want to play aswell. Now, out of the 8 i bought, ONE worked!!!!!!! WTF? and it shot maybe 5-8 feet...... now, i don't expect them to be handed down through the generations or anything, but 1 out of 8? frickin' Chinese made crap...... if you go into your home right now, i bet if you look at any 5 products 4 out of 5 will be made somewhere overseas.... and if is is not, its 5 times more expensive than it should be.....and this is why we buy this crap.....PRICE....... i guess they are selling perceived value.....

We have used Solo - breakages & seals
If I lived in Mikeyland would be trying B&G or Chapin, which are hard to source here.
We have used their larger sprayers for both pest control and cleaning. Some Chapins now need replacing which is a bitch as I have only had them for about 25-30 years. (Stuff just doesn't last nowadays, I expected to use them till retirement:frown:)

I know this is larger but its so much nicer of a sprayer. Better more consistent spray. Rebuildable too.

AS18 TWBS 1-Gallon Pump Up Sprayer

I use the Ace Hardware (made by Chapin, I believe) 1 gallon pump up. Quarts are nice, but they take forever to pump up to a decent pressure and a good spray. For my regular prespray.......Multi-sprayer battery, 2 gallon.

we use the quarts for upholstery. Problem with a lot of them is that they have a locking feature so that it will spray continuously. Problem is that it is easy to accidently lock it on and spray where you don't want to. Who the hell needs a locking spray for a quart sprayer.

Upholstery and encap was exactly why I bought the penguin Gentoo electric sprayer..... Works like a champ........oh, and applying protector.......I modified it with a 15 foot coil hose...... I quite happy with it.....

I have one of those and it works well in the shop but you have to bring a small compressor or storage tank to use it in the field. I do have a small 12 volt compressor but it can be a hassle sometimes. It has a very fine spray.

Tell me more about this, Been thinking about new battery or electric sprayer that I can use for upholstery and protector as well as prspray when encapping. I would want a longer hose as well as the ability to switch nozzles and lances for different applications. Been looking at the 1 gallon electric multisprayer as well as the traditional one.

We use the Spray1's for upholstery. Nice sprayers, gun jet with coiled hose. Small enough not to be heavy yet 1 gallon allows you to clean quite a bit of upholstery. Switching out jugs is fast and easy once empty.

I was at rural king awhile back and noticed the sprayers they had there. For what cost me over $500 they have similar for $150. Of course the housing is different but same parts

I recommend the BDs check it out

I don't use these little quart sprayers much because they fail so often. I need to get a couple of those German ones to try out.
