I got my final notice to renew and I can't find any benefit to paying them any amount of money. Most customers have no idea what i'm talking about when i mention it (iicrc) to them and it seems they really don't give a crap imho.
whats your take on it? should I, or shouldn't I pay?

ICS loves IICRC

Myself, i let my membership expire.

I know I'm a good cleaner, I have no problem learning more about the trade.

But come on.

Why don't almost all my clients not know of IICRC?

When new clients would call I'd launch into a sale pitch that includes being IICRC certified. They never cared and never heard of them.

I was so proud when that cheap little laminated piece of paper cam ein the mail. Or was it laminated. Maye it was not, and if it was not I was so proud of it I laminated it.

Oh well.

Until Ruth, Jeff and Tom start promoting us in Good Housekeeping and Redbook, paying for the test/cert is a waste of money for most of us.
