How can you tell the pump is shot by looking at it?

I took $50.00 off and invoice years ago in exchange for a cleanmaster high PSI auto fill portable.

Guy got it from a friend that owed him money.

I figured it was well worth that in parts.

He sez he tried to clean with it, but it did not work well and gave up.

I get it home..

Not much squirt,, and not much suck.

All filters were nearly completely clogged.

I cleaned the thing up, replaced a frozen float switch and sold it for $650.00

Some people just never open the manual, or clean anything.
