I was discussing theory with someone the other day and they brought up the idea of using a vac booster.

Turning down my PTO to low (Upholstery speed 700 rpm)

And then using a vac booster in line.

Will this provide enough suction as when the machine is running at full rpms?

What do you think the gas savings will be?

keep your machine turned up and then stick the booster in line with it.

then it will be dry yesterday.

Good lord Jimmy, what would you possibly save doing that?
79 cents a job?

Add five bucks to each job from this day on and tell T to find another sucker.

Are you an idiot Jimmy? I really thought you had more of a brain than that. How much is your time worth? I used to waste time hooking up a booster. They are great for someone just starting out.

Start learning how to market your services so you can be profitable and stop being a complainer. Fuel should only be 3 to 5 percent of sales and if you are not there you are not charging enough.

Tell you what would be nice for me though. Having a remote switch to go to idle. Being alone and moving furniture or just when the custy starts talking to you in the middle of a job. Not only the gas saving but the annoyance factor would be a big plus.

I am truly sorry for even bringing up my conversation with another cleaner describing theory and thinking outside the box.

So you PMF can just kiss my ass!

Maybe you should think outside the box and go Marketing. Gas will no longer be a problem.
