I have a wool wall to wall carpet to do tomorrow that has pee stains on it from a little dog. After I treat the stains is it okay to use my Matrix All Fiber Rinse (Acid) it says it not for wool (but every product that's any good says that). The only product recommended for removing the yellow has been stain magic for wool which hasn't done the best hence the reason for an acid rinse try.

An acid rinse isn't likely to take out an old urine stain from wool as well as it would on a synthetic fiber. In most cases, the fibers already have experienced color loss.

If Stain Magic for Wool doesn't work, an acid rinse likely will not either.

Terry, you can read all about in the Outhouse, it's one of the first articles.

I'd start at 6% and go to 9% max.
