Would this make a good upholstery table?

Just thinking outside the box. Watch the video, note how easy to set up and take down. Height? top is all plastic (of course you would leave the clamps off). Packs up pretty small.

You wouldn't want to bend over too much or it will just wear you out.

I measured the tables we use in the plant and they are 32 in height. So I think that would make an ideal upholstery table.

Dunno - I usually flip the sofa on its "knees" and use that. Makes the back easier to clean too.

We use the standard plastic topped folding table. It comes at a fraction of the price and easy to store.

The downside to these cheap tables is the plastic top does crack after awhile. Seems like this table is more durable, and is 1 3/4" taller. I may have to get one!

I had a folding table on my vans that we purchased from Jon Don years ago that have vanished. They do not make them anymore. They also use to have special blankets that were rubber lined to put on hardwoods when cleaning furniture, they too need replacement and they no longer sell them. What does everyone put under furniture when cleaning on hardwood?

Those work great...height is good....easy to store and for 12 bucks you just can't go wrong.......

I got a table stand like Willies picture. I got mine off of Craigslist cheap. It works great for doing the cushion outside. We do some warrenty work and it is real easy to haul it outside and clean it quick. Plus it folds up taking little to no space in the van.

If you are talking about for the shop then the bench setup is the way to go.
