got a call to clean all the carpet in a house the customer just bought. Looked up the address and it sold for 1.3M. Now I know that may only buy a ranch home in California but in Appleton, WI thats a big house.
So I get there and find cleaning ladies and electricians all over the place. I find the owner and she said only the 2nd floor and lower level have carpet. I measure everything up, leave the invoice on the counter and get to work.
About a week later she texts me and thanked me for the great job (honestly it wasnt that dirty to start with) but had a concern about the Theater Room. She found some popcorn in between the seats. Funny, I didnt see a Theater Room when I did my walkthrough! I call her right away and apologized and asked where the Theater Room was and she told me and yes it was in the far back of the basement which was mostly a tiled area which is why I didnt go back that far.
Going to go back to clean it this Thursday. Glad I have understanding customers. Thats a first for me in over 40 years of cleaning.
