Hello, I am new to this board and new to the water restoration business. I was certified for WRT recently and the instructor really emphasized on Mica software. I'm also seeing the Xactimate is highly recommended. Advice please?

Xactimate is a must, not even sure if there is another option when dealing with INS companies.

Xactimate is pricing software. Many insurance companies will want this or require it, especially on larger jobs.

Mica Software is a place to collect the data, sort the date and transmit it to the insurance company. If you do a lot of jobs MICA can save time and it helps you organize the documentation of the work you did. It covers a different part of the job than Xactimate.
