good for carpet cleaning???

PM customer wants me to use this!!!!! LOL!! AND,, wow , I thought we carpet cleaner were a gullible bunch. Buying anything that overpromises. And, I thought WE overpayed for our top shelf cleaners!!

He is serious though. A while back he told me his daughter cleaned her room with their home use carpet cleaning machine of some sort. Her room really smelled good.

I tried to politely relay that possibly just because it smell nice does not neccessarily mean it is good for carpet cleaning application. BUT,, being a PM, he does not give a Hoot , just wants a place to smell nice when someone goes in.

First off, let me ask you a serious question. Have you used this product?
OK,, are you asking Larry, or me. ? NO , I have not. My customer querried that in an email to me. I did reply to him, if that is what you want, then OK. But , like Larry said Stoopid.

Then you really don’t know if it’s “stupid” or overpriced. You’re judging by your perceptions which are influenced by you past experiences. Much like our customers do when they judge our prices.
Use it. Do what your customer asks. Charge accordingly and then make a judgement.

I never do what the customer asks if it's idiotic like that. I have 40 years experience in choosing the right chemistry for the job. What's his experience? Cleaning once with a Bissell using a smelly soap?

Only you can determine if this PM is worth the effort.
I would have told him to provide the product and I’d try it.
As long as he paid up front.

There is a lot of talk about this silver solution stuff. Its like it just popped out of nowhere. Bob foster is using it to clean Jets and rugs. I’m going to need to test this stuff out.

40 years of searching for the 'Holy Grail'. I have been fortunate not to have had to be always searching. Been using Roto-Static Magic since 1978 and never had to look elsewhere.
No insult intended.

And didn't expect a guarantee.
BUT, I know what he is thinking. not long ago was when he mentioned his daughter and her room, and it smelling nice afterwards. And, just the other day, I declined cleaning one of theirs due to ridiculous pet contamination. .. carpet, pad , wood subfloor , tackless ------. you all know the scenario.
Well, in his mind , using that for cleaning would be the answer, and solve the issue.

Marty, sure I will give it a try though as you instructed. A PM with rentals at all levels throughout the area.
