You need to watch this video and then voice your opinion to the IICRC! There is a loop hole in the new Standard that if left is going to cost us all big dollars! It is purposed for the new Standard to reduce the numbers suggested left by 1/2 of what is the norm now. Not only that but as it fall amount from 1200 cfm to what might be 140cfm. :eekk:

As Jeremy states this was probably not the original intent but if we don't let them at least know about how we feel it will be the New Standard.

I thought the opinon was that the IICRC was a totally useless organization, until they got new management, and now they can be ignored as irrelevant.

They are relevant? and important to the everyday life of a restoration contractor?

I'm confused.

PS: You guys really need to defend a rule that said you could put 19 airmovers in a living/dining/hall?

Psst Bryan......they are irrelevant to me....and so are the insurance companies. Once an outlaw always an outlaw! :winky:

We work for home & business owners! But azzzzz a courtesy I've got to tow the restorers line and for yall to vote.

Seriously thats how it works, the wrong people know the Standards and those who should, either can't afford them or don't want to afford them. So those whom the Standard is written for have little idea what's included in it.

That is the type of Leadership the IICRC needs right there! A goal of mine is to attend their academy !

I had a comment but thought it might be construed as:
Note: the Standard and Reference Guide are DRAFT documents and could be changed considerably over the next few months so please do not cite, circulate, copy, or reference the Standard and Reference Guide till it is in final approved version and published by IICRC.

Is the IICRC led By Skilled Hands On or Just a bunch of round table discussions by big money?

Sounds Like Harry has his work cut out for him. Might as well add Jeremy to the payroll : )
