We had a WDR loss earlier in the week where the source of the water was a city water main. It broke beneath ground pushing water through a sandstone wall in several businesses.
Even after the city shut off the water, the pressure was so great from behind the wall we could not keep up with what was coming through the stones.
Water was filling the TM’s in just a few minutes and was nowhere near slowing down. Rather than ringing up a huge bill we gave them the option of us staying or returning once it slowed down. They chose to have us come back in a couple of hours.
So much soil in the water, no soft goods we saved. We did wash down the hard surfaces and do some drying but the owners of the shopping strip were going to dry the structure on their own.
