IMPORTANT--The plastic protection also prevents the carpet from melting if the QD get too hot.

The instructions say to push the tabs in to remove but a slight tug on each side is all it takes. Good or bad remains to be seen..

I had my Son make me a few at his machine shop, from plastic rod, but they never lasted long. They were push on after heating them up, but the heat from the fitting would loosen them.

Well I had high hopes for these. I hate the burn more and more as I get older.


Unfortunately the Cuties didn't pan out. They wont close all the way on a new Parker and wont stay on at all. I tried a different one on a used Parker that being worn has a smaller OD. It closed all the way but with a flick of a finger they pop right off. The spring aspect to the tabs is far too weak to do the job.


Super Glue and either used or another brand QD is the answer I suppose.

Were these tested by anyone who uses pressure hose everyday?

Doubtful.

The way they split the tabs is pretty strange. There need to be a much larger lip on the tabs as well imo.

you have a propane machine and don't use these?

I'll just stick with these. They seem to last a good while. I buy 4-5 a year with my machine.

Well that's a shame. I'm guessing they fit them for cheap import qc's but even so that doesn't explain how they come apart so easily. You get what you pay for.....

I wouldn't mind the use of Super Glue, IF they actually closed up all the way on a new QD.

Buy new qc's - turn down OD on lathe - superglue cutie on..... piece of cake!

hopefully they can continue to modify them.Its a great idea if they can just get them to fit the major brands.
