Actually, sadly it probably does only have that much!

I stopped by Trident when they were installing your unit, I had to see the old Powerclean!! Man that thing was clean! Berry said, "but guess what we found under the unit" I was thinking a greasy mess.. He said a leaf! Let me tell you most don't keep their equipment like that!
Sadly, the Powerclean is sitting on a trailer in my garage. I might do some repairs and take it back to stock condition and use it as a backup. Haven't made any decision on that yet. Right now it can't be any worse than the new machine. At least I'd have heat. Hello, Sapphire Scientific.

The top picture is a ss570 bimba the 2 hoses on top cause the Piston to go in and out. Mine is currently in the heat position when the U joint is closest to the water box it's off and doesn't heat.

Doug said he's able to move the bimba manually but if keeps going to the off position and not heating.

I think it's possible maybe his hose on the bimba got reversed or he has a bad Mac valve.

He could take the hose off the bimba completely and manually divert put it in the position mines in and you will get heat.

To much heat but heat none the less.

That valve when things are working correctly with the temp switch will go out to heat and when it hits its temp, it goes back in and is automatic and controlled by the temp control and mac valve, the bimba valve has 2 hose which come from the mac valve that operate by vacuum of at least 7 hg.

If you were getting no heat you could pull both hose off the top of the bimba valve easily and manually pull the piston out and the machine would heat constantly.

if the two hoses on the bimba got reversed by accident then the machine would stay in closed mode and not heat because the vacuum hg's that usually open it would be obviously closing it.

I have accidently reversed mine and I know its an easy fix.

Most of the shops were you buy these machines do not know how they work.

Correct. I was thinking the Mac valve was the potential problem. Problem is, I called SS twice ( Customer Service and Rick Aranda) and didn't receive a response either time. It's
like I'm still dealing with my old machine. Not impressed at all with my distributor OR Sapphire Scientific.

Powerclean Genny is sitting in my shop, on a trailer, also. Might have to clean it up and keep as a back up.
I also have a Genny parts machine. Blower, pump, engine, frame.

As for SS, call and ask for Scot Harlib. 1-866-445-3030. He's always been very knowledgable on SS equipment, and usually answers his phone, or at least will return your call shortly.

Or call Jim Pemberton and ask to speak to his mechanic, Paul. 1-800-342-2297

Is bimba assembly frozen?

If you disconnect hoses like Sam mentioned does the diverted arm go in and out freely?

If yes has to be a wiring issue or the Mac valve.

I don't think it is sapphire fault entirely, as this is why distributors make the big bucks. I will ask where is the distributor and why are they not fixing this ASAP.

Should be a very easy fix as long as the bimba assembly is moving freely and not frozen.

I would expect to not have to do anything to a brand new truck mount (except oil changes) for at least 2,500 hours..

This is his only unit that's in a van and it's the busiest time of the year, he's just limping through because of bad design..
