Holy crap !!

I got this stuff 2790 from Dave at sales@cleanprosupply.com to try out and I cant believe how amazing this stuff works.

This lady had what I thought was dark pink ceramic tile and some pretty rough shape grout. 20 years old never had a professional cleaning. I was dreading the cleaning afraid of choppy uneven results.

I applied this 2790 at 10 oz to the gallon down with a deck brush. I noticed the floor was getting muddy as I was scrubbing it. Im like what is this. The minute I went over it with the spinner, I couldnt believe my eyes. I didnt realize how dirty the tile was and the grout literally looked brand new. I could even have done with out the grout tool which I always use and over use. I was so amazed at the results.

You guys have got to try this stuff out. Heres a before n after pic.

In the next week or so I'm going to acid stain 1500 feet of brush finished concrete. I want to wash it first with something plant and critter safe. I also need to learn more about neutralizing prior to sealing..

Perhaps we should talk

I'm sure 2790 is good stuff.

I'm happy with Rotovac Oxy-Enzyme AND I can use it on carpet as well.
$35.00 an 8lb container, delivered. (Special MB pricing)

Here's another filthy porous ceramic tile job cleaned with 2790. A sunroom where 3 large dogs slept.

While I do rinse while I extract, what exactly would happen if you didn't rinse well enough? My guess it would be somewhat sticky and re-soil faster? Plus a bit of a health hazard for crawling babies and such?

I don't use a spinner, I use a gecko head squee-gee for spraying and extracting.

Correct, might leave a residue and attract soil. Rinse well and you will be fine, low risk.

If you want hot sauce, this is it.
PH 14
Ussually mix 7oz\gallon (5oz for non polished stone)
I have been using 2790 for years & just got a case in this week for a nasty Travertine job coming up, if the other stone cleaners don't cut thru the grease & grime I am resorting to 2790.

Be careful on natural stone. Do a small test area first. Its 14 pH, very strong stuff.

2790 is a lye based product. It should clean very well. It's labeled for outside use only, I think. My main concern with it is if it gets on a carpet it will damage it. I can't imagine what it's slowly doing to your lungs.

pH is not a linear increase but a logrithamic increase in strength. A pH of 14 is 100 times stronger than a pH of 12. As a chemist, we have strong safety warnings for products at a pH of 12. I would have flaming safety warnings about a product with a pH of 14 (something we would never sell by the way.) Use carefully with proper safety equipment. Make sure that you have no holes in your shoes. In talking with one of our Australian distributors, he reported that alot of mates use sodium hydroxide at a 45% strength to clean hard surfaces. Yikes!! I know of someone who got this in his shoe and had to get a skin graft to replace the loss of skin. Be careful out there!!
