For me the challenge is keeping the solution line straight and not pulling on it.
When I roll it up I can feel where it has gotten a little kinked up. That's where my last leak came from.

Not Pulling on it when there is a couple loops has become my challenge. Even when wrapping it up.

The door issue is easily solved by laying out vacuum hose first.

The vacuum hose by itself won't stop the pressure hose from getting pinched sometimes.

I prefer to prespray before bringing in the vac hose, so I drop a towel in the hinge side before rolling out solution lines.
Yeah you have to leave a lot of slack so it doesn't pull towards the jam.

I like the door closed as much as possible and wedging the jam can screw the hinges up especially when it's a little rotted.

I got a 3 gallon electric sprayer for the not so nasty jobs I need to soak or if I want to prescrub too then I don't even need to start the machine until I'm ready to extract but it's not always a perfect system.

Every job is different so it's good to have options. I've seen guys put rocks between the door and jam or hinge side to hold it open and then the door doesn't close right so best to not put that stress on it imo.
Being a janitor when I was young taught me a lot about building maintenance and how not to do some things.

On windy days I like to bungy the door handle and storm door handle together so that's what works the best for me.

I like those bungees to hook to the side doors of my van to the wheels when it's windy.
And that's all I got to say about that.
And Jimmy for the win.... can’t have too many bungees.... they’ve got to have plastic ends though... don’t want to scratch the paint, or Mrs Pilfingtons banister....

A 8’ 2 by 4 will produce about 25-30 door wedges.... and they are about 5$ a board... If a guy leaves a few behind, who gives a shyte....
I use scrap wood I make them for my wife she uses them for her weekly Hallway cleaning.

I just do like I said now.

We NEVER have these problems..

Lead Perflexes get a foot chopped off once a year and reswedged.
