I love the smell of diesel...
And hot tar on a summer day.
I love the smell of bacon frying in the morning.I love the smell of napalm in the morning
Should I give Ben a call and ask him if he wants to pay to advertise? I’ll record the conversation and post it on here for you guys’ entertainment, lolBen needs to be a paid advertiser!
Bethel has shared pics of some of the nicest, most well laid out TM/vans I've ever seen
what's he doing these days?
always thought he was class act.
Hope he's doing well and in good health
..L.T.A.
I believe Gary Bethel had the first CDS mounted in a diesel Toyota Hi Ace van.
They are now very common down under.
My tm was an Australian made HydraVac with a liquid ring vacuum & three cyclinder Kubota motor, which I bought 2nd hand from Gary in '98.
Pic below was back in 2003 prior to refurb; & installing Big Wheels on the Cimex.View attachment 82895
Both tm & Hi Ace ran on gasoline\ from the vans tank.
All of my Hi Aces have been the smaller ones, about 10' load area, nearly 6' wide and the main reason, because I can get into garages under 6'6 high.
My tm was mounted across the van with 1/3 of the weight past the rear axle.
All controls were easily accessed via the side door.
Most of the other guys prefer to use the longer wheelbase & higher roof-line.
Can you control the heat generated out of the burner? No reason for it to burn so hot..
Then why in world is amtex designed that way if used as cc machine? That way to much heat inside the van.
Every where I see those is outside on a trailer or something.
Why so close to machine parts where it can be over heated, when every major brand hustle to keep machine coolest as possible?
That heater on amtex is needs to be moved to different spot...
Hi Shorty

I just checked my email inbox. It was from Mikey back in 2015. I have been here for a while just quiet. Ill speak up now, especially since I will most likely be getting back in the biz.....Todd and Jeff, good to see you guys here. Hope you both stick around...
Good to see you here non the less Jeff. I got sick and tired of the BS on the other board.... it reminded me of junior high. I wish you the best in getting back into business. You’ll kill it, just like you always have....I just checked my email inbox. It was from Mikey back in 2015. I have been here for a while just quiet.
