What are the differences between the two products?
Bill;
Our StainResist Powder has a lower pH (9.5),
leaves a softer hand on the carpet
and has better suspending ability for Red Clay soil.
Best rinsing powder we have.
50 Pounds in 6 Gal. Pail.
The PowerMax Powder has a higher pH (10.5)
emulsifies oil & grease better due to Citrus Solvent,
and oxidizes stains better due to Percarbonate.
45 Pounds in 6 Gal. Pail.

Thanks for asking;

Well just wait until you read the mix suggestions.
I'm dead sure Larry's local audience goes by the label.
Perhaps we're not familiar with odd measurements like ounces. Perhaps you should list glugs per gallon as well......NONE
of you guys ever goes by the directions in the 1st place .
I just ordered a jug of it to test it over here in Georgia.Matt;
Just a couple of weeks ago I found a nearby source of solid Red clay.
Now I will have some handy to stain & test with.
Two components will help remove that red clay.
One is the phosphate builder with the best suspension abilities (used in StainResist Powder).
Two is an oxidizer to remove any remaining color from the fiber (used in StainResist Powder & PowerMax).

For polyester carpet with heavy red clay stains, do I need to add any butyl to rinse out any oil buildup?
I'll be using my hydroforce at 8:1. How many ounces of POG will I need to add?We tested SmartStrand oily traffic lanes and had the best results boosting with POG.
I'm sending you a Qt. sample with your StainResist Powder .
