3M diamond impregnated pad system vs. Propane Equip.

I was looking for a little friendly guidance in the floor polishing business. I am currently being pitched the 3M diamond impregnated pad system and have watched the you-tube demo videos but I wanted to ask a pro.
.QUESTION: Can a guy provide an as good a finished product with the 3m pads vs the propane equipment like a Klindex or whatever the norm is.

I could NOT currently swing the cost of buying the equipment now but do have an opportunity to land a terrazzo job for polishing and could swing the cost of the pad system. I have to know if I can do it right for them with what I have. Automatic scrubbers and 21" swingers with weights I could put on. . ....

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

For terrazzo that system would work good. With concrete the floor has to be perfect.

terrazzo sure it should work...a little on Marble to...

concete doesnt have to be perfect (really ever seen a perfect concrete floor??) but the concrete is a different animal when it comes to using those pads vs a normal resin diamond
