i got a chance to bid on cleaning the tile in a church kitchen. it is the standard red 4x4 tile with a moderate grease buildup and totally trashed grout. what would be the best tile cleaner for somthing like this.

You could hack it up with Greased Lightning.

I've also used Oxyblaster at twice the recommended amount with success. Use plenty of dwell time.

The best overall tile cleaner I have used so far is Grime Be Gone from Duane Oxley. Sometimes you will just have to try a few cleaners to see what the soil in question responds to the best. All soil is not created equal.

Matt;

We like hi-pH powder degreasers that have d-Limonene, oxidizer and an actual enzyme (PowerMax).

The grout lines will be the challenge,
and may require extra powder oxidizer if they are really trashed.

I like to sprinkle it on the worst areas after the initial prespray.
