New to the forum. Our customer's daughter is a cancer survivor at the age of 12. They want their carpets cleaned but do not want to introduce new chemicals to the home. Suggestions?

Paul, welcome. In conversation with customers with allergies, odor sensitivities and cancer, we have used products that do not have strong perfumes and simply rinsed very well. Sometimes they vacate the house while we work.
Removing as much filth as possible while leaving negligible residue just seems like common sense. It is not you that are introducing a hazard, you are removing a host of hazards.

In these type of severe health situations, I would also give the SDS to the customer to pass along to their doctor. Let the doctor approve. I would state that cleaning carpet is like cleaning filter. You will remove most of the soil, but the cleaning process can result in contaminants in the carpet can wick to the surface or become airborne through the process. It would be best for the affected person to be away from the house until the carpet is dry.
