For those who cut their own Cimex pads (from buffer sized pads), what type of material did you buy to work best for results on carpet?

They work great and last quite a while. So i guess if I was cutting my own, I'd buy some big pads from there and do it. No need to though since he sells the correct sizes for the 'mex.

almost any of them will...

i have used the beige ones, I have used a more aggressive buffer pad...the grey ones that rick sells are pretty nasty, so just about any "burnisher" type pad will work..

stay away from the colored pads..


oh and btw I had a tool made up to cut them quick....needs a tweak though...
