HI All

Quick question on cleaning cinemas. I've quoted per seat for traditional seating and Gold Class (read fancy recliners) now have a meeting with the State Rep.

For those who have done cinema cleaning, how long does it take to do a cinema roughly? And dry times that I will need to consider. Bearing I mind Ill be on my portable.

Thanks

Rob

The reclining seats in my area are leather. How about there?

Your just doing upholstery?

We do carpets but no upholstery, takes a great prespray and heat to break up the sugar, and butter oils.

We average one minute per seat. That is cleaning the fabric on the seat area and backs. We use a PMF style tool for cleaning and the seats dry in about an hour with low humidity. We also put a Y on the vacuum and pressure lines and run 50' of 1.5 vac so it is easier to pull through the rows of seats.

1500.00$. For the entire cinema carpet usually 12..16 theaters
Takes 2-3 mornings total about 10-12 hours
I have done a total of 5 different theaters...go in at 6-10am
Love cleaning those things as no furniture to move like resturants...
Haven't done the seats...they may want you to lowball those seats to get the contract..
I would exercise caution on the seats as that will be major labor time and expense
1 minute per seat is 3. hours per 200 seat theater
