Would be nice if there was an industry standard...comparing apples to apples makes sense.

No psi, no hose lengths, no "this jet or that jet", no duty cycle to clutter up the the numbers

Larry, what does that setup look like. Is an open ended lie detector plugged in to your discharge qd atm?

I think that would be a fine way to do it, Jim.
there's so many different wand jettings as well as cleaning technique from one guy to another.
It would take all (well, most of) the variables out of the numbers "game" the manufactures play.

sustained temp at X gpm would allow us all to seperate the wheat from the chaff

That's okay, if all of the systems are tested at the same time, because they would all have the same input temperature. But if they're being evaluated at different times, you have to know the input temperature, in order to be able to have a true comparison.

Example: System A is tested in wintertime. System B is tested in Summer. The input temperature of the two will be drastically different, giving one system as much as a 30- degree "head start" over the other.
