Who bought their first truck mount prior to 1980? Working for the company that bought it counts.

I'll go first, my father bought a Prochem 400 in 1975. I'm betting Heacock has got that beat......

September 1976, to the best of my recollection. A used Judson unit.

I started with a Clarke shampoo machine and moved up to rotary with bonnets and Argosheen.

In 1980 the company I worked for Bought a Powermatic 1150 from Steamway, and a used 76 or 77 Prochem 100A

The company I now work for bought a 73 0r 74 Steam Vac Shaft driven TM. Mike Palmer was an employee of Steam Vac. He left and started Hydramaster, He later bought(1979) out Steam Vac and they went to work for him building the CDS TM. I still have a 1978 Steam Vac Unit.

Not myself, but my 1st employer in 76 bought 2 new banes...

First ones around our area...

Remember seeing my 1st Butler in 79...

A black truck with a side port...

Very sharp it was...

The fella sold it the year,I started for myself...

Would like to have got it for 3500,but I was not where I am now..

In 76-77, the guy I worked for bought the areas first Steamway Turbo-Matic, complete with chain drive pumpout!! It was a real chore to get that pumpout turning in cold weather.
