As for the video @ at 1:25 "there was no appraisal organization in the united states that focused strictly on oriental rugs"
Well, that would be the ORRA oriental rug retailers association they have an appraisal certification program it's been around for decades!
You would think Mr O'Connell would know that being a rug expert and all?

Sounds like a "good ole boys" network...I mean "Good ole fellows" network. ;)

It carries more weight when others think highly of you, than when you think highly of yourself. :yoda:

Excuse me because I'm not fluent in his language but I do believe he is saying "Me", "Me", purchase services "ONLY from ME".

No matter how much I charge you, "ME".

Wow... that sounds vaguely familiar. :eekk:

You'd love him Porkchop. You don't remember him on ICS before the crash?

Hell, his posting made me quit going to ICS.

One can only stomach so much of a pompous blow hard...him....not you. :winky:

LOL...here it is! It was on the clean restore connect forum!

"In conjunction with the Tour there was a Convocation of the Academy of Oriental Rugs with Lisa being introduced as a Senior Fellow at High Table. Later on there was the secret fellows only toast to the fallen. We did Shakespeare’s Soliloquy from Henry V. John Bryden played Westmoreland to my Harry the King. Rug cleaners are a highly intellectual group and they seemed to really enjoy Shakespeare. "

So this couple, ( that I know personally) Dan and Silvie ask this blowhard to do a video for them to promote their rug cleaning business and all he can do is stutter about his phony credentials..

Why they posted it to You Tube is beyond me...

I guess if Howard can have a round table, Barry can have a High table.

Thank gawd I'm not a "highly intellectual". While I certainly appreciate Shakespeare, I don't feel compelled to act out scenes. :errf:
