Flow Simulator leaking?

On my Prochem I have noticed a loss of heat over the past couple weeks, so I pulled off the bypass hose to the waste tank and sure enough it was leaking when I put it down on the floor.

Can I plug the hose until I can fix the flow simulator?
Instead of replacing the valve they have a rebuild kit.

Thanks

You never had that on a 405. And yeah you can cap it. It’s a needle valve. That isn’t seating properly. Probably worn out. I always thought it was a good idea in principle. But in reality you are way better off hooking up a tool and adjusting the chem metering to that. I would plug it before the valve.
