What do you all do when you take a break?
sorry Brian, some people actually stop thinking about work now and again...
For those of you with staff taht will keep operations going in your absence, what about the marketing machine? Does it stop still?
Sure, I have the small day by day stuff that they are each responsibile for taht will continue, but what about the stuff only you do?
I have bits and pieces that I action on a weekly basis, send outs, followup calls, meetings etc.
I, as a manager handle that so my staff aren't trained for that, if they were, they'd be earning a lot more and have a different job title!!
I'm taking 2.5 weeks off from this Friday, it's down to nitty gritty so too close to orgnaise too much additional work.
I'm thinking I just need to let hte machine stop for 2 weeks and hit it hard when I get back?
What do you other guys do? Preferably those of you that don't have a dedicated manager... or if you do, what did you do before you hired that person?
