I think I do pretty well bidding strip and scrub and recoat jobs. I do need to figure out a good way to bid maintenance service for vct as I would like to be more active in vct and hardfloor.

It all comes down to your costs and productivity. Otherwise referred to as "time and materials" bidding.

A starting point for a skilled tech is $100 per hour after initial glitches are worked out, if you have the right tools and skills.

I would pm Jeremy Sweetland on this board he can pretty much tell you everything concerning VCT. Great guy and always do everything he can to help out another cleaner.

maintenance bid will have to be determined by labor rate in your area. i wish i could get 100 an hour maintaining floor but that more than likely will not happen.

whe you say maintan what do you mean?

do you hnave to clean and burnish?

do you only have to burnish?

do you have to srubb and recoat when needed based on a term contract?

a lot of facters come into play when talking about maintanace.
