does anybody have a hydroshark hydro sensor?

need to buy three more hydrosensors and by the looks of it the hydroshark looks very durable but would like any input anybody has regarding the unit good or bad.

I've not tried them, they look pretty good. What gives with the Bio hazard light?

I do have a grave yard of other brands and we always end right back with the Hydrosensor's by Drieaz.

If you get one let me know how well it holds up.

A couple of important considerations:

This is not a sales pitch, just some technical considerations to ensure the instrument will do the work properly for you. I am not familiar with the brand you are referring to, but encourage that you do a little research to ensure:

1. The sensor reads down to at least 17 points of moisture on a wood scale. Any higher, and you will miss some migrating moisture in carpeting and cusion.

2. The probe assembly is completely sealed and water tight. Otherwise, you'll get moisture in the assembly, and it'll beep even when it is not inserted into a wet carpet. I've experienced this... quite frustrating when the sensor keeps beeping even in the air.

Just my two cents.
