Home owner calls us to clean kitchen tile. They said they started to do it themselves but it was too much work. My tech goes there and does the job and all looks good when he left. next day doing our quality call she tells our office the small area they did themselves looks better then the areas we clean. So I go back with the tech for the redo to train him some more because he's kind of new. Sure enough the part they did is a shade lighter then what my guy did. We reclean with Oxyblaster and scrub the heck out of the grout. Blast it with high heat and 1000 psi and still I cant match it. I ask her how they cleaned it and she says baking soda and vinegar. The grout was a light grey. Is it possible that combo would bleach out the grout slightly? I ended up doing an acid clean with Viper renew and got it to match.
