Well I had a big night. I fixed my air compressor. Needed new O rings.
I'm very happy. I was going to take it to the dump.
Screw driver too?
I don't know what that means.
If you can use a screw driver AND replace o rings, you’re my hero
So being a man is a hero?
What man can't use one?
Just ask Damon what made him want to start that project? He won't take my suggestion.
I don’t really care about looks, reliability and serviceability are the things that matter most to me.
Smoke and mirrors are never good..
Not good looking to me...it's a slide in.
Those aren't o rings. Compression fittings with brass compression sleeve things.
I want both. I want a professional appearance too. I know it has little to do with function but I feel it is representative of the quality of the build. I want anyone that sees the unit to realize its not some garage build.
Could you just slap components on a fame and it work as well? Sure but it doesn't instill any confidence to the casual observer.
It would be nice for evening and night work. I like it.
O Rings sounded better than rubber compression things to me.
My answer hasn't changed since the first time you asked.
I'm aware of several "pretty" truckmounts in the dustbins of our industry.
DEPENDABILITY trumps everything else.
I agree however there are several dependable truck mounts that look like sin being sold too.
Ugly runs clear to the bone.
Like an Everest. Big, ugly sumabitch.
I actually like the way the Everest, Apex and peak look like.
But they be huge like!
She's big but she AIN'T ugly.
She's BADASS! Don't even fook with her!
