-tell us how you got here from the Motherland..

-aside from a male model and rug sucker what other careers have you here in the land of the free?

-dead dude clean up, how and why did you get involved in that nightmare?

-who does the translating at jobs where live English speaking humans are suppose to interact with you and that accent?

-how has Joe Polish changed your sex life?

-what tv shows do you enjoy?

-where do you see your business in five years?

-what roll does Tammy play in it all?

-what are the 3 biggest impacts MB has had on your existence?

-what is your idea of a perfect truckmount?

-a word to the wise...."fill in the blank you goofy bastard! ! "

-if you could retire tomorrow filthy rich what would you do with the rest of your life?

-you, Tammy, the new Trex, a keg of Guinness and a 100 pound sack of potatoes are on alone in the middle of the Atlantic on a rapidly sinking raft, which gets tossed over board first?

He's been very helpful answering questions with our expansion in Bio Recovery/Trauma cleanup in the last few years.
Great guy, been a real resource for us.

I had the pleasure of having Jerry live here in Knoxville for a few years. He taught me a lot about water damage and we got to work on several jobs together. He also had to drive my drunk butt back from Atlanta one weekend when Duane hosted some get together. Not sure if it was a summerfest but we had a good time. Good guy all a round

-tell us how you got here from the Motherland..

A big airplane ..Every Irish family has to have one offspring in America, and it was easier to spell U.S. then Austraila
Ireland is just called Home.... not the motherland

-aside from a male model and rug sucker what other careers have you here in the land of the free?

Just 2 i worked as a house painter for another Irish guy when i first got to the states, that lasted 6 months , he was from the west of Ireland and i could,nt understand a word that fooker said
In 01 0r 02 i worked as a maint manager at a large apt complex in Sacermento after i fixed all the major problems they would send me to seattle and oragon to fix up propertys up there
i got fired cause i could'nt play the corp game

-dead dude clean up, how and why did you get involved in that nightmare?

Back home i was a member of St John Ambulance for a good 12 years, so blood and the dead dude stuff came as no problem for me
I had a rug sucking and restoration company in Fl, . A G.C we did work for came to us with a BIG clean up job in Miami and asked if we knew anything about cleaning it up , this was back in 1995
Being me i said yep and we where off..the job took 5 men 2 weeks to compleat it was the biggest crime scene i have ever seen (it was a blood bank that was torched)
After that people just sent me work. When you come into contact with Familys at the worse times of their life and you can help by taking away what can be a very disturbing job for them
thats a nice feeling..the money,s good too

-who does the translating at jobs where live English speaking humans are suppose to interact with you and that accent?
i - t a l k - s l o w - w h e n - d e a l i n g - w i t h - t h e - y a n k s - or sometimes i show a pic of my ass and tell them to kiss it

-how has Joe Polish changed your sex life?
I now wear a pony tail to bed and wispper...marketing, marketing..more marketing
the j.p thing helped us move into the res market and helped us put value to our work. you dont have to live the j.p thing word for word. We used it as a tool to make a move into a market we where not in

We have made a lot of money out of it , so it was a very good investment for us

-what tv shows do you enjoy?
this ones easy. Breaking bad, Boardwalk, homeland..and a lot of british tv shows on nexflix. and pbs.(it drives Tammy insane )MR BEAN

-where do you see your business in five years?
without me to fook it up, it will be running fine with about 5 trucks. Tammy running it and me doing odd jobs and sweeping the wearhouse floor

-what roll does Tammy play in it all?

Miss Tammy as jimbo would say, is 'after my kids' the best thing to happen to me, Mensa iq, and aside from tv ,likes the same things i do, keeps everything on track and has my job list waiting for me every morning
i begged her to come run the biz for 2 years, She was a v.p. at a prop management company making very good money. but she gave in and said ok
we have never had a arguement and respect each others roll in the biz , Tammy gets the custys and fires the problem custys pays the bills etc and i do the work, buy the equipment and chems ( i just have to ask for the money)
it works for us and we get to spend time together

-what are the 3 biggest impacts MB has had on your existence?

It has made me want to top myself, poke my eyes out and want to run red hot pins up my nose .............. you see i dont care about me face , but i need my hands to do me job

apart from that. It has to be the people here, the ones who show up at mf and or connections
Where else would a manf ask a emergrint rug sucker to test his new machine, and trust him to do the right thing.

Les, John L, John O, Jimbo,Jim bethel, Dave in knoxville ,Nate ,Damien ,Keith, Bob V ,RICHard, Ken Lisa...and Lisa the list goes on and on . There is a ton of great people on mb( im not saying your all fat, Just Richard and Ken )
knowing these people you have to take pride in your work or your letting them down

-what is your idea of a perfect truckmount?
Another easy one
a diesel Judson duel wand in my sprinter
if i cant get the jud, i can see a etm sitting beside the reactor, theres room for it

-a word to the wise...."fill in the blank you goofy bastard! ! "
MIKEY CAN HOLD A GRUDGE...ring,ring...ring ring

-if you could retire tomorrow filthy rich what would you do with the rest of your life?

I cant sit easy so id have to work, maybe play music in Irish pubs and tinker a lot, i like making things work, fixing stuff, i gave John a handy little tile and grout tool i hope he makes some day,and the cure for all leaky cuffs .theres always stupid stuff like that running around in me head

-you, Tammy, the new Trex, a keg of Guinness and a 100 pound sack of potatoes are on alone in the middle of the Atlantic on a rapidly sinking raft, which gets tossed over board first?[/QUOTE]

ME..
Tammy will give the Trex to Tim for his truck, she will sell the guinness at me wake and will have a potato gun at the ready for any MB,ers that show up wanting a free pint

Thanks for that.
thats my thanksgiving...(never heard of it before i came here to the states.... i just like me Christmas)

After training for the ambulance i was paired up with a Mr Tom Flanagan , a GREAT GUY, Tom was the driver and me the att
Our first "duty" with the bus was at the Dublin city marathon. we where about 10 or 12 miles out from the start of the marathon. hours of boring waiting ,cold, hungry,. Then a police car came speeding up to us
lights on etc.. They had a job for us , on the back seat of the car they had a young man ..late 20,s maybe 30, suspected heart attack
Like deer in the head light me and Tom freeze for a few seconds, then we kick in and get going
we get him in the bus..i start ck ing for breathing ,pluse, ,temp, ..we put him on a spine board on top of the stretcher..as im working away in the back Tom jumps in the front fires up and off we go to the hos, the cops give us an escort lights and horns going , in the back it felt like we where driving at 100mph the "rush" was great.. driving on the wrong side of the rd, moving lanes back and forth
so i doing "c.p.r" in the back, Tom shouting back at me .."we still have him...he,s gonna make it....we,er 5 mins out ... ...... and then we get the E.R
we get in, we get rid of him ...we,er standing outside and we both start with the shakes..both having a smoke.."should we get back to our post"...yeah,,,... Tom says ,fook i could do with a pint, ...I,ll need more then one ,that fooker had bad breath, said i
Tom became the best of friend, mentor, closer to me then a brother

Tom Died last year in the same hospital
of a heart attack
May he rest in peace
